Do the clothes
and trends of Hollywood stars influence your shopping decisions? When
you see a star wearing a certain hat, certain pair of boots or
jeans are you more interested in buying the same brand? I
live in Los Angeles and every popular weekend hangout is filled
with people sporting the same hairstyle, the same jeans, the
same Hollywood look. Is
this look influenced by star power? Is
it only the look we care about, or is the brand behind the look
just as important as the look itself? Today,
many businesses are giving free party bags to stars filled with
their glasses, their jeans, their shirts and countless other
products in an attempt to build product recognition and brand
appeal. It seems if a star is simply seen wearing one of you
t-shirts, sales can explode. Is
seeing a star wear a specific brand of clothing out in public
more effective influencing your shopping decisions than if the
same star were wearing the same brand in a paid advertising
campaign? Rate
star power. How much does star power affect your purchasing
decisions?
